Show Hosts
Charlie Gunningham
Charlie has spent more than 20 years in Perth’s tech, property and media sectors, firstly as a founder himself, through to exit, and more recently as a writer, advisor and investor.
Originally an Economics teacher from England, via Singapore, he arrived in Perth in 1997. Graduating as top MBA student from UWA Business School in 1999, he co-founded property listings site aussiehome.com in Perth, which was acquired by REIWA in 2010. He ran reiwa.com for four years before becoming CEO of Business News in 2014.
For the past few years he’s worked for a federal government tech startup fund; and is also a tech business consultant, recently launching an Australia-wide property media business, The Property Tribune. He’s also Managing Editor of Startup News.
There’s nothing he likes more than helping early-stage tech startups … and drinking coffee, red wine, playing in a blues band or hitting a golf ball. Email Charlie on charlie <at> startupnews.com.au.
