Danelle and Steve talk with Mihailo Bozic, founder of Envited, an events platform that does not need Facebook, and works across all social media platforms. Only 2% of teens use Facebook, so this cohort needs another means to set up and share events.

He started working on the concept last year while still at university, recently raised a $350,000 pre-seed round to employ some staff, and is about to launch the service.

“When I was raising money for Envited, I spoke to over 70 investors, and only one of them invested, and they took the lead. So you just have to just talk to as many as you can, and you have to grind it out…. People at an early stage invest in founders. They don’t invest in your business.” ~ Mihailo Bozic.
